Wood-work Cabinetry: Product Specifications

  • Hardware:
    Hinges: box-type auto-closing — Dores/ Vintage Germany or equivalent brand.
    Sliding telescopic drawer channels — Nimmi brand or equivalent brand.
    Shutter Handles — BUSH/ Dores or equivalent brand.
    Locks — Europa brand.
    Magnets — Nimmi brand or equivalent brand.
  • All shutters are veneer-faced on the outer side, with matching laminate on the inner side.
  • Polish: All veneer-faced shutters are melamine spray polished on the outside. All box-type woodwork is hand-polished on the inside.
  • Room Doors: Where/ if provided, doors are flush solid-core hardwood, ISI marked, with pre-approved brand SS finish door-stopper (BUSH or equivalent), round cylindrical lock (Dorma/ Dorset), one SS finish 8" tower bolt (BUSH or equivalent), & YAMA or equivalent brand hinges. Doors may be supplied without Duco paint, which has to be done by client on site at his expense. If desired, Duco paint will be done by us, chargeable extra @ Rs65/sft/side.
  • All exposed plywood edges in shutters & cabinetry are provided with a teak-wood beading (or lipping of same veneer, wherever suitable) so that the woodwork is adequately protected & has a finished edge look.

Attention to detail, care and hand finishing all take time. This is not premanufactured flat-pack furniture. There are none of the obvious join lines between tops and sides you see in other cabinetry. Everything lines up. There is no mismatching. Everything is hand finished. The cost is in the time.
